Sun MicroSystems, Secret project !!

I Went and met my friends today afternoon in koramangala... One of them works for Sun Micro here.. He told me, Sun is planning to fight with Adobe on RIA stream... Looks like their Java FX annoucement release in Sun One Conf. recently has had a delayed response.. They want to compete in RIA's technology with Adobe Flex. Flex has a beautiful code editor which was amazingly made out of Eclipse... Definately that was a lot of work, ignoring the known issues... which every product has... now Sun wants to have its own editor for writing Java FX... they want to build an editor on top of the popular "Net Beans IDE"... The funny thing is - their internal Code name for the project is "FLEX KILLER"... haha... Also heard that they estimated a lot of work and postponed the plans on the relese part of it... but i really appreciate the mark Adobe has already made in RIAs with Flex. Now with the release of Apollo, i am sure it will add more base to its existing market... To catch up the race and boost their motivation levels, Sun's code name atleast looks real funny to me...
