Trip to New Jersey

On Friday evening, me and mitesh started to new jersey. We started at 6:30pm and wow.. what a traffic on the turnpike? We reached only at 11:30 in the night after a big struggle on the traffic jam on the long weekend (with monday declared holiday here due to Columbia day). I met Ankit (mitesh's NJIT friend - New jersey Institute of Technology) and his two other friends. I woke up at 6am to pack myself in the 8 degree cel. chill cold weather to the DMV office close to Piscataway, New Bruncewik. Thanks to mitesh for driving me half-slept. Unfortunate, but i saw a sticker that stated, SSN Systems were down due to system maintenance and i really had a hard time digesting the fact that i cannot give the written test due to system maintenance going on and thats applicable entire statewide. I really wished i had read that before i started to NJ on the DMV website.

Returned home and started to work! Crazy, but yeah i had so much of patching work to do for my office and i really didnt like it other than working on and closing it up. We went for a late lunch to ABHIRUCHI (an indian restaurant in edison, well its a andhra restaurant). To me it was a slightly lighter version of MINERVA here in Gaithersburg, Maryland. After eating full and a lot of masti on the way, we started back home.

It was the evening for FALGUNI PATAK at the expo hall new jersey close to edison. Most of the Gujju's were out there filling up whole of the expo hall dancing to the tunes of Falguni patak for the famous dance called - GARBA. A lot of varieties and whole lot of gujju's filled it all up. I really loved watching everyone around, with all of us (around 6 of us) wearing kurta's as if it was like in India. I happened to meet LOKESH SHARMA, my bitsian friend. I guess i happened to see another bitsian SHIVA (very rarely remember him as A7, andhra samiti member?).. not sure though. It was really great nite till about 2.

We went for a nice lunch at the CHAND PALACE close to house in Piscataway where the guys happened to see a film actor DEVEN BHUJANI, and they went all over to take photos :) It was a really wonderful day for me, when Ankit and we all went to BRIDGE WATER BALAJI Temple there. I really felt it was a small Thirupati with The lord venketeshwara. The temple is extremely good with most of the gods present and the pandits chanting mantras in Telugu. It was a real great trip where we had great fun without knowing each other properly initially.
